Marissa's journey as a makeup artist began unexpectedly at just 13 years old when she booked her very first client, her sister, who was a junior bridesmaid in a wedding. What started as a single opportunity quickly grew into a lifelong passion for beauty and artistry.

In 2010 she went on to study professional makeup artistry at Makeup Designory (MUD) in Burbank, California. After completing her training, Marissa returned home to Royal Oak, Michigan, where she began her career specializing in print and commercial makeup before ultimately discovering her passion for bridal beauty.

Inspired by renowned makeup artist Bobbi Brown from an early age, Marissa embraces the philosophy that makeup should enhance your natural features. Her signature style is rooted in timeless, natural beauty, creating soft, polished looks that celebrate each client's unique features. She believes every bride should look and feel like the most confident version of herself, ensuring her makeup feels effortless, elegant, and authentically her on one of life's most meaningful days.
